Voigtlander Vito II introduced in the early 1950s as successor of Voigtlander’s prewar model Vito, a folding camera for 35mm film. Its film transport was optimized for the modern film. The camera has a new lens which was calculated for color photography, the Voigtlander’s Color-Skopar 1:3.5/50mm . Manufactured around 1954 this Voigtlander was made in Braunshweig, Germany, it uses the film type 135 with a 35mm picture size. The camera weighs 14.6 oz (413.9g). The lens is a coated Color-Skopar 50mm f3.5 with a Focal range of 3′ to infinity and a Prontor-S shutter having Shutter speeds of T, B, 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 300 and a simple viewfinder. All levers, buttons, knobs, and dials turn freely, the shutter fires, no further testing was performed. This ultra rare Voigtlander is sold as a collectible, as is.
